Tapajós River

The Tapajós river was described by French explorer Jacques Cousteau as the ‘Caribbean of the Amazon’ because of its clear blue /green waters, and beautiful white sandy beaches. The region is a real gem, yet undiscovered by mass tourism.

Manaus is the main entry point to adventures in the brazilian Amazon. The old historical city center is a living testimony of the time when the city was the center of a rubber boom in the end of the 19th century.
